The evolution of masculinity as stay-at-home fathers has been a focal point of social change and gender roles in the modern era. This research depicts the changes in the role of fathers within the family, the challenges they face, and the implications involved. In an increasingly inclusive environment where women are actively engaged in the workforce, the role of fathers as household caregivers has undergone significant shifts. This study identifies the social, psychological, and practical factors that influence the evolution of masculinity as stay-at-home fathers. Social challenges and stigmatization serve as primary barriers encountered by fathers who take on the primary role of managing the household and caring for the children. In this context, social support from family, friends, and social networks is crucial in providing motivation and confidence to fathers in carrying out their roles. The research adopts a qualitative research method, allowing for detailed, extensive, and flexible exploration of culture. This methodology enables the author to establish connections between the culture under investigation and relevant concepts, theories, or other cultures that remain applicable. Through this research, a better understanding of the evolution of masculinity as stay-at-home fathers is expected to be achieved. The implications highlight the importance of strong social support, inclusive public policies, and supportive environments for fathers in fulfilling their roles. Thus, the evolution of masculinity as stay-at-home fathers can continue to progress and bring benefits to individuals, families, and society as a whole.
